The 11th ranked Hoyas were beaten by Notre Dame, 78-64 in a Big East game. The Fighting Irish were without leading scorer Luke Harangody, and the Hoyas did not have a healthy Austin Freeman who was held to only 5 points. The Fighting Irish hit 57.1% of their shots in the game and over 71% in the second half. Greg Monroe was the leading scorer for the Hoyas with 15 points. Ben Hansbrough had a game high of 21 points for the Irish.
