Trump Hotel Protest
Protestors gathered to voice their disapproval over Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at the site of a planned Trump Hotel in Washington D.C. on Thursday July 9, 2015. The protest, which was led by local elected officials and community group activists, was in direct response to the presidential candidate's controversial comments about Latino immigrants. The planned Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C., is a $200 million redevelopment of The Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Ave. just a few blocks from the White House.
