Students Walk Out To Stop Gun Violence 19 Years After Columbine (April 20, 2018)
Students gather near the White House in Washington D.C. to protest gun violence. At schools across the country, students walked out of class on Friday, April 20, 2018, the 19th anniversary of the shooting at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo. At 10 a.m., they sat for 19 minutes of silence, in remembrance of the Columbine massacre's 13 victims. It was also a little more than two months since the Feb. 14 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
