March for Life
Joe Baker (Colorado Springs, CO) is the founder and president of Save the Storks, here attending the 2015 March of Life. Thousands of anti-abortion protestors rallied on the National Mall for the 42nd Annual "March for Life" up Constitution Ave. to the Supreme Court Building in Washington D.C. on Thursday, January 22, 2015. The event takes place every year on the anniversary of the Court's landmark Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized access to abortion.
'Save The Storks' was founded in 2011 to be an organization that provides state-of-the-art, innovative mobile medical units to local pregnancy resource centers across the United States. According to the organizations website, their "Stork Buses, under the direction of the pregnancy resource centers, are equipped with a sonogram machine and volunteers who are able to administer pregnancy tests and offer sidewalk counseling. Through this unique partnership with these centers, more long-term relationships are established with women in need, providing them with the necessary resources and education to help them set out on the right foot toward motherhood or adoption."
