Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2013
Thousands of visitors attended the 2013 Smithsonian Folklife Festival on the National Mall on June 26-30 and July 4-7. Three programs are featured in the festival, and 2013’s offerings are “Hungarian Heritage: Roots to Revival”, “One World, Many Voices: Endangered Languages and Cultural Heritage.” and the African-American "Will to Adorn”. Attendees were treated to a wide variety of singing, music, dance, craft and cooking demonstrations, lectures and great food from around the world.
