The 2010 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree – a 67-foot Engelmann Spruce from Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest – arrived at the West Front of the Capitol at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 29 in Washington DC.
Truck drivers Jeff Underwood, drove a 81-ft. tractor trailer with the Tree, and Mark Fortner, drove a the 53-ft. legal limit tractor trailer with about 75 smaller trees. Here Underwood chats with Wyoming Senator Mike Enzi.
The tree will be lit by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi during a ceremony beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, on the West Front Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. (Photo by Jeff Malet)
