"Nothing has changed. The social conservatives are still promoting voodoo economics. Imaginative protest signs were ubiquitous among the several hundred thousand who attended a "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear" on the National Mall organized by Comedy Central talk show hosts Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert in Washington DC on Saturday, October 30, 2010. This sign is a play against a comment made by George H.W. Bush during his campaign for president against Ronald Reagan when he diminished the idea that tax cuts can generate higher tax revenue resulting from the attendant grwoth of the economy. This concept is often refered to as sell side economics. (Photo by Jeff Malet)
