Rep. Jo Bonner (R-Ala.) was a member of a House Ethics panel that charged Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) with 13 counts of violating House ethics rules, placing the Democrat's 40-year political career in jeopardy. Two members of the House ethics subcommittee, for the first time, laid out their findings from a two-year investigation of Rangel, a 40-year veteran of the House of Representatives. Reps. Gene Green (D-TX) and Bonner said their four-member subcommittee adopted 13 counts against Rangel though not all the counts had unanimous support. On July 29, 2010 on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
