After his meeting with President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said there was still no agreement with Senate Democrats on the current budget, at a press conference on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, on Tuesday April 5, 2011 . Boehner said the House will not be put in a box and forced to choose between two options that are bad for the country. He also implied that cultural issues relating to abortion policy and climate change are " as important to many of our members as the spending cuts themselves." With a stopgap government funding bill set to expire Friday at midnight, a government shutdown looms. (Photo by Jeff Malet)
